The Healthiest Home package addresses indoor air quality issues through a combination of Conscious Home’s toxic product assessment and non-toxic education, and IAQm’s (Indoor Air Quality Management) (www.iaqm.ca) visual inspection to evaluate a home’s air quality. You will learn about leading sources of poor indoor air quality, the health concerns around indoor air pollution, and about fantastic non-toxic alternatives to cleaners and personal care products. The IAQm visual inspection will evaluate your house’s history (flooding, recent renovations, age) and gather information about what health symptoms household members may have. The inspection will include an examination of the heating and ventilation equipment, the building envelope, and will provide recommendations on whether testing for indoor air contaminants (mould, volatile organic compounds, airborne particulates, etc.) is required.
